Jim Willenbring, MS, CPCC, PCC

Jim Willenbring is a distinguished global business leader and deeply experienced senior executive coach. He joined The Bailey Group as a Partner in February 2024, bringing with him a multifaceted leadership background and a passion for driving transformative growth. As a Partner, Jim plays a vital role in shaping the firm’s strategic direction, mentoring the leadership team, serving on the Board of Directors, and acting as a brand ambassador. He is especially focused on cultivating an environment where each client feels supported and challenged to become the best leader they can be.

With a background in engineering and deep expertise in innovation, strategy, marketing, commercial analytics, and executive coaching, Jim brings a unique perspective to The Bailey Group’s research-based, experience-tested approaches to leadership development—whether individual, team, or cohort-based.

Outside of his work with clients, Jim is active in academia and community service. He teaches leadership skills through the University of Minnesota Carlson School’s Executive Education and serves on multiple executive boards. He holds an M.S. in Scientific and Technical Communication and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and a Professional Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation.
