Jim Willenbring, MS, CPCC, PCC

Jim Willenbring, a distinguished global business leader and deeply experienced senior executive coach, was appointed CEO and Partner at The Bailey Group in February 2024. As CEO and Partner, Jim fulfills a multifaceted role with various key responsibilities. He serves on the Board of Directors, leads the company culture, defines the strategic vision, mentors the leadership team, ensures accountability for sustainable growth, acts as a brand ambassador for The Bailey Group, and, above all, cultivates an environment where each client feels both supported and challenged to become the best leader they can be. With a background in engineering and proficiency in innovation, strategy, marketing, commercial analytics, and coaching excellence, he comes uniquely skilled to lead and expand the firm’s research-based, experience-tested approaches to executive, team, and cohort leadership development.

Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Jim is deeply engaged in academia and community service, teaching leadership skills through the University of Minnesota Carlson School’s Executive Education and serving on various executive boards. His vision extends beyond organizational success to catalyzing transformative growth for individuals and communities alike. Jim holds an M.S. Degree in Scientific and Technical Communication and a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Minnesota and is recognized as a Certified Professional Co-Active Coach and a Professional Certified Coach by the International Coaching Federation.
