Cathy Barr, MBA, BSN

Cathy Barr is an Executive Coach and strategic advisor with more than 30 years of experience driving leadership transformation and advancing healthcare organizations. She began her career as a bedside and home health nurse in underserved communities, where she developed a deep passion for improving both organizational performance and patient outcomes. These early experiences inspired her move into healthcare leadership, where she has served as a catalyst for sustainable change.

As an Executive Coach, Cathy specializes in helping senior and emerging leaders leverage their strengths, enhance executive presence, and define the personal brand and leadership legacy they want to leave behind. She guides her clients through meaningful growth journeys, empowering them to set clear goals, expand their impact, and lead with confidence.

In addition to her coaching practice, Cathy is a trusted strategic advisor to prominent healthcare and business organizations. She has played a pivotal role in facilitating complex mergers and acquisitions, supporting boards of directors, and improving patient care delivery systems. Known for her business acumen, operational expertise, and commitment to serving others, Cathy has helped numerous enterprises strengthen performance and achieve lasting success.

Cathy also contributes her leadership expertise to several nonprofit and startup boards, including the Nurses on Board Coalition, Pelvital USA, Cerenity Senior Care, CLUES (Comunidades Latinas Unidas En Servicio), and The Women’s Health Leadership Trust. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Niagara University and an MBA from the University of St. Thomas – Opus College of Business.
