Vicki Turnquist

Vicki Turnquist is a visionary leader in the finance sector, who discovered a new passion for coaching after retiring as CEO and President of Private Bank Minnesota, a venture she founded and led for over 18 years. With nearly two decades of experience, Vicki brings a wealth of knowledge to her current role as executive coach at The Bailey Group. In addition to her deep finance industry expertise, she advises at the C-Suite level across various sectors including wealth management, software technology, insurance, medical research, manufacturing, engineering, and nonprofits. During her years as a banker, Vicki quickly learned to grasp the strategic, competitive, and financial factors in various types of businesses. Her extensive experience working with entrepreneurs, CEOs, and CFOs allows her to be an invaluable resource and partner to leaders and organizations. She excels at helping leaders create actionable goals that align with the corporate strategy and vision. As your leadership coach, Vicki will fearlessly ask direct questions, guiding the process with intention and empathy while creating a safe space for your growth. With over 20 years of board service in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, Vicki’s expertise transcends banking, enabling her to navigate intricate regulatory landscapes and offer valuable perspectives across industries. She has generously contributed her time and expertise to various boards, including River of Goods, Citizens Independent Bank, and Augsburg University, American Red Cross and TreeTrust further enriching her diverse contributions to the community. Vicki is also a proud member of Rotary, a global service organization and served as its president during the club’s centennial year. Vicki’s educational background includes a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Minnesota, complemented by a Mini MBA in leadership from The University of St. Thomas.
